Today I have been dreaming. I have been reading a book called 'One day' by David Nicholls about two friends who fall in love after many years, trials and tests. And they fall deeper in love in a little garret in Paris, where she has been working as a writer. A romantics dream. So today my dream is going back to Paris (where my great-grandmother was from), with someone I love... or falling in love in this very special city....

ReplyDeleteI went for my honey-moon and it was amazing :D The Natural history museum is next to the Eiffel Tower, and has a restaurant with a balcony that over looks the Eiffel tower :D we ate at night while the tower was lit up and it was absolutely beautiful! We also visited Monet's garden and the Palace of Versailles :)

aaah! paris. that movie looks so, so good. i want to read the book first:)parisians always look like they're having so much fun. in a city that beautiful, who wouldn't?

Sounds perfect! Would you recommend the book? I've seen it and I know the premise but I haven't talked to someone who has read it yet. Getting engaged in Paris like Bethany (from Rinse Repeat) wouldn't be bad either!
ReplyDeleteI dream of living in Britain although I'm afraid that won't ever happen - it's hard to move there and I'm not sure whether we could really move away from all we've known. Yet, that is still my dream.

ReplyDeleteParis is pretty incredible, I must say. I've been twice, only for a day or two at a time but I was young. I would like to go back if it didn't take so long to get there - there are so many other places in this world I'd love to see some day.

You should definitely go to Paris! It is the most beautiful and romantic city and I would move there in a heartbeat. I've even started learning french just in case!
