Feeling blue.

Today I feel:

I have been trying to be positive but I am down because the job application process is just so hard with constant long forms and rejections and exhaustion. I also feel that there are other things missing from my life (relationship etc). Trying to find and create new opportunities for myself, but all I feel like doing at this moment in time is:

I talked to some great friends of mine tonight and that helped. Lets hope things pick up...

  1. Ah, I'm sorry you're feeling down lately - I completely understand. It can be such a drawn out process can't it. I hope something great comes along soon! xxx

  2. I know what you mean, all I want to do is jump on a plane and go anywhere for a few months

  4. I promise things do pick up!! They really do and will. You know that saying you can't have a rainbow without a rain ebforehand? It's very true in life. Also, there's a great quote:

"What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days in our life haven't happened yet"

  5. love this post!
would you like to follow each other?
    if u like my posts))
flw me and tell about this!
I hope to hear from you soon!

  6. Hey lady. I am so sorry to hear about you having a hard time finding a job :s Sometimes the world can just be so cruel and it will seem like nothing is going good for you. Ah, I just had a few of those "everything-is-wrong"-weeks after something happened in my life and all that could cheer me up was a good chat with loved ones. So
I'm glad to hear you had a good talk with some friends :) Having their support will no doubt be a big source of comfort :) I hope you can find new strength soon! Don't give up the job hunt one day one of those employers will NEED you :) x

  7. The job search is just sucky. I'm so sorry that you have to deal it with it too!

    Good luck!

  8. sorry you're feeling down :(
but a road trip sounds like the perfect cure!!

  9. Oh lovely, the job search things is always tough! Stay positive and know that the right thing will come up at the right time. A friend once said to me, finding the right job is half luck, half effort. If you've already put in the effort (study etc), the luck will work itself out. I liked that. Hope a road trip/change of scenery will make you feel better too. Elisa x

  10. thank you everyone who left these sweet messages above. you have made my day, with your kindness showed. I will think of these as i continue the job hunt!! x

  11. I've been on and off with blogs getting over my cold...so I missed this one!! OOoh don't worry doll, we are living in a time of hardships trying to find jobs...every one is feeling it! I know it's hard and you want to give up, but just know that something will come around and you'll forget all about this hard time. A road trip sounds wonderful, if I had the money, I would pack up and my family and I would be off!! You just hang in there & all will work out for you, I know it!! xxx

  12. All you can do is keep trying. I hope you find one. And you don't need a relationship to be complete or be happy. I've been single too. Everyone's journey is going to be different and when we compare ourselves to other people, we feel that we are "missing" something. -Jessica L
